April 16, 201115 yr Orange spice. Changing how many doses does indeed change how much the skill is boosted. Adding 3 doses of spice will get you up to +6 or down to -6 level change. 2 doses will get you +4 to -4, and 1 dose will get you 2 to -2. You could always consider using the crystal saw with tea (gold), which also gives a +6 boost, but this boost has the benefit of being 100%, instead of stew where the chance of getting +6 is rare.
