I don't know where I can appeal about this - right now I'm muted for 2 days, can't talk in game, private messages, and can't post on the forums. April 17, 201115 yr Go thru the account section of the website. Also unless it just happened randomly u must of been spamming in a way an auto-typer does. eg saying "Selling 50k lobsters 10k" perfectly the same every time every 10 seconds or so. A solution to avoid this in future is avoid spamming selling/buying or w/e type messages too fast. Its annoying anyway. April 17, 201115 yr Go to the account management section to appeal. It's kinda hit and miss, or so I hear, whether or not your appeal gets accepted. I don't think there's much else you can do apart from that, apart from type slower :/ I guess you could deliberately make mistakes in your text, or subtly change it in some way. Good luck. April 17, 201115 yr If you want to counter the Mute go to - Runescape.com -> Account -> Account management -> Appeal Offence and you can appeal. *You can also see the reason why you were muted* Otherwise just get on with the game, it's only two days :D <29 Farming><25 Summoning>

And yeah I've been quite spamming the chat, but I didn't know there was any rule against it as long as I did this legally. (just typed quickly..) Under rules spamming is an offensive for being disruptive to others game play. It honestly sounds like a story about the muting system WORKING. Although from the sounds of it, a 24 hour mute would be better, and an appeal going through and ending the mute... I wasn't really spamming the chat.. There were about 100~ guys in GE, everybody on his own buisness.. I was heard probably most frequent but there were many others too... and I agree with you, you see that I'm not trying to hide the 'truth'.. It's just that I wasn't aware for this rule...
