The Lost Tribe

Hi Everyone-

 

I was working through "The Lost Tribe" quest and noticed some problems with the description. On Step 2 there is a map for the cave. The cave has since changed since then and there are more and modified paths now.

 

However, I noticed from searching on another site that there are small little stones with an inscription at each intersection that tell you which direction to go (in goblin code, of course). This little tidbit (which would have saved me many lumbridge teleport runes) is not in the guide at this point. Any admin who has already done the quest can verify this fact. If you go into the description from the runescape wiki I linked below you can see the key in an image on the page.

In short:

 

1) Map in Step 2 is incorrect.

2) Guide neglects to mention code stones at each intersection.

Welcome to Tip.It.

 

We do not add information from other sites, however your submission did motivate me to re-do the quest and go over the guide as a whole. I found that the map (as currently in the walkthrough) is correct, and does not need replacement.

 

As for the stones you mention, I remembered them from doing the quest the first time, and although they are not necessary when using the map, I have added information on them as I re-wrote the guide regardless. I've also credited you for your efforts in pointing this out.
