TDC
Over the last half a year Ive put all of my money into 75 con, 75 prayer and 84 herb (waiting for cash for 85) and I havent spent much time above ground and even less time making money. /excuses for not having any money. Few random questions now. 1) During busy times is there an alternative to frost dragons? I normally just skill/dg during those times. 2) Just checked up and it will cost me just over 150million using D.Bones or 195mill with frost dragon bones for turmoil. Is it worth spending ~100 hours at frosts and buying D.bones or straight up burying the frost bones? 3) I have a crapier, rigour, arcane steam, scroll of life and Scroll of cleansing. I'm planning on upgrading my zerker ring from t9 to t10 next (worth it before 100dg?). Any other rewards I should be aiming for? I don't boss or anything like that. 4) Going to try and defeat normad tonight. Would bringing a full tort of food/brews dismissing and summoning a kyatt work? Also melee or range? 5) If I am successful fire cape or soul wars cape for slayer tasks? Glacors Drops - 33 shards. Armadyl Drops - 1 Chestplate. 1 Hilt. 2 gloves . 2 Skirts. massicist
1. TDs may be an option if you have access to them. Nothing skill-wise comes close to the profits that monster-hunting can bring.2. Not going to number-crunch because it's been years since I did prayer, I have no idea what the bones/h is. Personally, I would use frost dragon bones.3. Herbicide and bonecrusher are nice for slayer, but by no means necessary. 4. Can't help you here, sorry.5. Fire cape- prayer pots are dirt cheap right now. Cheat
I normally just skill/dg during those times.Well I suppose you could slay while the frost dragons are too busy allowing you to imrpove your melee stats and unlock better monster-hunting money-making methods.2) Just checked up and it will cost me just over 150million using D.Bones or 195mill with frost dragon bones for turmoil. Is it worth spending ~100 hours at frosts and buying D.bones or straight up burying the frost bones?I would seriously recommend useing frost dragon bones, I just got 95 prayer with them and it was a bit of a drag.. I don't think I would've coped with getting the levels via dragon bones. The time you will save is well worth the extra cost.3) I have a crapier, rigour, arcane steam, scroll of life and Scroll of cleansing. I'm planning on upgrading my zerker ring from t9 to t10 next (worth it before 100dg?). Any other rewards I should be aiming for? I don't boss or anything like that.I'm not dunging yet so sorry can't help.4) Going to try and defeat normad tonight. Would bringing a full tort of food/brews dismissing and summoning a kyatt work? Also melee or range? This is a strategy I have heard suggested many times before so I assume it works well.5) If I am successful fire cape or soul wars cape for slayer tasks?Fire Cape because the strength bonus is much more important considering the cost of prayer potions and efficiency on your slayer tasks. Th e Doctor
You can offer about 924 bones per tortoise (43 min) or 1289 bones an hour. From 75 to 95 is what, 8 million exp? So ~12k frost dragon bones or ~31 k dragon bones. So 24 hours of offering bones vs 9 hours of offering bones. Well worth the time saved imo. For nomad I prefer range due to the safety you can get from safespotting his 750 and multiform attacks. Bring 3:1 brew to super restores and 4:1 brew to regular restores, as prayer isn't a huge issue and it let's you bring more healing. Fill your tort with the same ratio. For range use ruby bolts(e) and diamond in your inv for when he's charging his maxlp-1 attack (if the ruby spec activates you'll be sad...). Also in your inv have a kyatt with 150 ambush scrolls. As soon as your tort is empy dismiss it and summon your kyatt and spam ambush scrolls (dismiss during the multiform or charge attacks to avoid his attacks interrupting your dismiss screen). For melee use the same strategy only use a stab weapon (z spear, korasi's+ddef or rapier+ddef), still hiding from the 750 attack. Sw cape on dag tasks if you choose to to DK's for them. Ardy cape on metal dragon tasks (especially miths). Fire cape on everything else. TDC
Cheers for the reply guys Edit: got normad on 2nd try. died first time due to using all my brews so i bought 4:1 brews to super restores and let my kyatt do most of the damage on the last phase while using my spare brews to heal.
