Achtryn's Curse

I don't write stories and i don't claim to be any good at it. And this is just a story i wrote in a lazy mood. I hope it's not a total bore. Please do read!

Somewhere in Morytania:

“You don't look like a demon to me.” The young man shouted.

“Well believe it, I'm one...”

“Now, do you need a ..?”

“No, I was just in the area.”

The young man walked away, but he did not buy the so called demon's words. The demons he had encountered look and are evil and always needed to be killed. His mind was possessed of curiosity, and it didn't take long before it impacted his routines. Yesterday he did very few tasks. He wasn't the individual that wouldn't settle with less. Where ever there was knowledge of his interest – he sought it out. And not only that, he was very clever.

He realized that the truth serums made by help of Betty would not work. How would it be of any use if he couldn't get the demon to talk? After a while a idea hit his mind though perhaps a bit doubtful.

“Could magic really do it?” He thought out loud.

So he travelled the long way to Draynor (lies: he teleported). The key to the answers he wanted was here...Dionysius. But he had to make sure he would not make him suspicious. So after a round of conversation with the local people he found a man who kinda worshipped Wise old man.

“Isn't the Wise old man wise?” He began the conversation.

“Indeed he is”The man agreed.

“He has helped me many times. So I wanted to show my gratitude by giving him a jug of wine.” And showed the local man the jug.

“Wise idea!”the local said.

“But oh darn I forgot I got Guard duty at Falador. Could you give it to him as a gift from both of us?”

“Of course I can! So your a guard?”

“Yes, and I must go now.”

“Take care my friend.”

Several hours later he returned to Draynor and went directly to Dionysius. And as he entered his house he saw the jug of wine that he had bought and put truth serum in. It was no longer full. Though Dionysius is wise he was not as wise as he was made out to be, however, he did not take him lightly, therefore he pretended to be a less knowledged man in need of advice. And then he asked the question:

“Is there a mind reading spell?”

“Of course there is, the lunar mages...hey! Who do you think you are?!” Dionysius cast a spell, but it was to late. The man who played him for a fool escaped in time.

Knowing this he went to Lunar Isle and tricked them too with the truth serum and learned how to cast the spell. The next day he went to the demon in Canfis and asked him why he had a tail and red skin just to get his thoughts on the truth. And he got his answer. “Demon blood...drunk...fire”.

At last he got his hands on some rare demon blood. He knows now why it's so rare. Every darn demon caught on fire after 5 seconds of their death. Luckily one demon took a bit longer, it must have been because of it's strength. One could tell it wasn't an ordinary demon after the battle. The next day he went to Canfis, to the demon.

“You fool! What have you done to yourself!”Mazchna shouted.
