You should add in the quest guide (Helping Rantz, row 4) where it says "hunt a chompy", that it is suggested to hunt more than one. I got one. Then I went to Karamja and burned it and had to take the irritating trip back to Oo'glog. My Cooking level is 85, by the way - make your own conclusions.
