.NET Framework error?

Featured Replies

Hey everyone, it's me again <_< .

Recently, while trying to install stalker: Call of Pripyat, I got an error message that said I need to install .Net Framework v4.0.30319. I thought it might have been a problem with that game, but today I got it again while trying to install a DX11 Benchmark, and again when trying to install Metro2033.

The thing is I already have that version of .Net Framework installed. Just to make sure, I downloaded it again, and the client Client Profile, installed both again, but it didn't help. I'm on Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. I've already searched for sollutions to this problem, but couldn't find any that fixed it.

Thanks in advance.

Try uninstalling the framework completely (if you can, I don't remember if it's locked in or not) and then installing the game. It may auto install the framework for you (just a guess).

No luck with that, I still got the message when trying to run it.
