July 4, 201115 yr Currently I have my sound bar hooked up to my TV with an optical cable and I have my PS3 hooked up to my TV with an HDMI cable. (My Samsung sound bar has no HDMI slots) I noticed that while playing a game called 'Pixeljunk Monsters' with the way it's currently hooked up, when the statue-looking boss comes and jumps, it makes a bass sound but it doesn't sound right through the sound bar, it's 'fuzzy'. However, when I tried the optical cable from the sound bar to the PS3, I tried it again, and it sounded completely proper. Will it work to have an optical cable from my sound bar to both the tv and the PS3?
