The Hatred is a Pure Pking Clan originally opened in 2007. With the revival of the wilderness, The Hatred has re-opened it's doors in hopes of reliving old times and making new ones.

1. Application Process of The Hatred

 

1. Introduction

 

Your first step towards becoming a member of The Hatred begins with an introduction. You can find our introduction forum by clicking HERE. We recommend that if applying that you follow our introduction outline, however it is not mandatory. Remember that your introduction is your first interaction with the clan, so make it a good first impression.

 

2. Referrals

 

Now that you have filled out your introduction it is time for you to find 2 referrals. This is mandatory for your application, so post around on the forums and make some new friends on our irc channel #The_Hatred. Referrals can help a lot for anyone joining a new clan, so make sure you actually talk to them and know them. They can help make your clan experience a lot easier, so do not shy away from this step.

 

3. Rules

 

After you have gained your referrals you should familiarize yourself with The Hatred's rules. These rules can be found HERE. Make sure you have read all the rules, because we will know if you haven't and it will delay your application process.

 

4. App. Form

 

Once you have read the rules it is now time to create your application. Find your way to the application form topic which can be found HERE. Answer every question fully and make sure you post the link to your introduction and list your referrals. Also, make sure you have looked over the rules topic fully. If you need help taking pictures find your way to our irc channel #The_Hatred and someone will surely help you out.

 

If you are missing anything in your application ranks and other members will post telling you what to fix, so check up on your application as much as possible. Once everything is correct you will be accepted as a 'Trial Member' which moves you on to the next step in the application process.

 

5. Trial Member

 

Now that you are a trial member you are nearly done with the application process. Trial Members have advanced forum access and can see official events, however you are not there yet! As a trial member you have one month to prove your an active and devoted member. In one month trial members are required to attend 2 official events and 1 unofficial event and take pictures of these events. Once you have achieved this in under one month (disregarding in-activity with an excuse) you should be accepted as a full member.

 

If you feel that you have achieved this and have not been moved to full member, simply remind a rank and they will judge your activity and either accept you or let you know what needs to be done.

 

2. The Hatred's Official Rules

 

• No flaming other members or ranks within the clan.
  
• No Praying 1v1 in the wilderness is allowed.
  
• Pjing is also banned from TH in the wilderness.
  
• No multi-clanning is allowed, even if you have two separate accounts.
  
• Teleporting of any kind in the wilderness is not tolerated in The Hatred.
  
• Scamming and Hacking is not allowed in The Hatred, if caught members will be terminated.
  
• Representing TH negatively anywhere including fan-sites and other forums is forbidden.
  
• You must be efficient at Official Events and behave. Failure to do so will come with consequences.

The Hatred offers a variety of different events in both F2P and P2P. We mini war everyday and we have prep wars every week. Also, on the weekends we have official Pk Trips, which are our main focus. If you enjoy warring and PvPing on your pure, The Hatred has you covered! However, we also offer fun events! We are not merely a one dimensional Warring clan.

 

 

 

The History of The Hatred

A Product of Exiled and Minority Pures

I. The Beginning

 

The Hatred is a F2P Pure Pking clan that was founded on Feburary 25, 2007 by B L U Orchid, Fire Again, S T O P E D, Pur3 Sponge and X ******* X. The Hatred was the result of a merge between Exiled and Minority Pures, which is often a forgotten fact. As one unified clan, The Hatred proved that merges can work, and slowly began to rise up as a force in the pure world.

II. A True Test

 

After the clan settled down and had a few successful trips, the leadership of The Hatred declared a full out war on Evolution Purez. It was a standard one week preparation war. This was The Hatred's first real test, and we came out on top with a clear victory. This war put The Hatred on the map, and launched what would be one of the fastest rises to the top 5 that anyone had seen in the pure clan era. At this point, everyone around The Hatred knew we were onto something special. As a clan, The Hatred had passed its first test with shining colors.

III. A Family

 

Following this war, moral was high within the clan and the member base started to grow. Mature new faces joined the clan from other respected clans and the personality of the clan really started to take shape. The Hatred was no longer just a clan, we were a family. Pk Trips continued to get bigger and bigger, however the community stayed tight.

IV. F2P Dominance

 

With success growing, The Leadership again sought out another war. This time it was against our rivals at the time, Untamed Purez. The war was a 5 day preparation fight and the preparation war intense. However, TH came prepared and brought 180+ options compared to UP's 100+. Following the war UP closed, and The Hatred showed that we were a true force to be reckoned with when it came to F2P.

 

With this huge victory, The Hatred came out of the summer of 2007 as a top 5 pure clan. TH was fighting the best of the best and going blow for blow with them. F2P PKRI wins versus MM, FOE, CP and FI showed how far TH had come in such a short time.

V. Proving the doubters wrong

 

However, The Hatred still had something to prove to the pure world. People doubted us, and considered us a fluke. Yet, we knew the time would come when we could prove them wrong. This time came about when The Hatred faced EOP in a PKRI. Up to that point, EOP hadn't been beaten in F2P for many months. In a hard fought battle, TH defeated EOP and shocked the entire Pure World. The Hatred had assumed F2P dominance and silenced the doubters in one fight.

VI. Bounty Hunter

 

The Hatred was running on a high. We were one of the top F2P PKing clans competing with the best of the best at the time. Then the pure world was in chaos when the wilderness was removed. The Hatred however, quickly reserved ourselves and pushed forward. PKing basically non stop for the first 48 hours of the update TH was not only the strongest pure clan in the BH era, we were the strongest force in the middle leveled BH era destroying pure clans and main teams left and right.

 

Eventually other pure clans grew accustomed to the BH and TH was once against amongst strong competition. Despite the large amount of talk that went on during this era The Hatred was the clan to come out on top in a shocking defeat against Corrupt Pures during the last week of the BH era. Despite being rushed before we had assembled all of our options making us out numbered, in one of the greatest clashes if not the greatest clash during this era TH went out on top with a stunning victory. The Hatred ended on a strong note in the wilderness, and left just as big an impact after the Bounty Hunter era.

VII. Clan Wars

 

With the Bounty Hunter area changed, Pure clans had to adjust. A Pure Clan League was introduced and clans began meeting up at a specific clan wars world every Saturday and Sunday. During this era The Hatred stayed solid and continued to live on with strong core of dedicated members. As always, The Hatred was a true force to be reckoned with in F2P. In a fight against The Golden Gods, The Hatred came out on top despite being down 63-44.

 

 

 

Also, during the PCL Era, The Hatred began to focus more on P2P. Every sunday TH became stronger and more determined in P2P. After a few months we had established ourselves as a respectable and feared P2P clan.

VIII. A Team for the Ages:

 

One of the most important aspects of the PCL and Clan Wars era was the birth of The Hatred's elite Mini War Team. During this period The Hatred had more minis than any other clan around and the practice made itself evident. The Hatred was the clan to beat in any F2P mini, and this was solidified when we won the Pure Clan Tournament 15v15 with ease. The most amazing fact, was that we did this without any TeamSpeak or Ventrillo. The execution and teamwork we displayed during this time is something that I will never forget.

IX. A Job:

 

Eventually, This PCL and Clan Wars Era became old for The Hatred. Everyone missed the days of the wilderness and the classic F2P and P2P Pk Trips. Showing up every week at clan wars and fighting the same clans every weekend wasn't enjoyable anymore. Many oldschool staff and members decided to move on from Runescape and a new group of members filled their place. Everyone in the clan seemed to view every weekend event as a job, not as something fun.

X. Last Stand:

 

One sad day, The Hatred lost our forums to a hacking. This was a huge blow to TH, because our forums had so much history on them. Our forums were our main contributor the the community we loved. Quickly, we had a backup forum activated, but we could not recover anything because our previous forum was invisionfree. We lost track of oldschool members and our memberlist was also severely hurt throughout this ordeal. It was clear that a lot of work was going to be required to recover.

XI. The End?:

 

Finally, on July 12th, 2008 The Hatred's staff decided it was not worth it to keep TH going. With our old forums gone and the wilderness gone, we had nothing left. The staff was ready to move on in life and head seperate directions. We all were happy with what The Hatred had accomplished in and out of the game. We had put our mark on the pure world and we were content with our place. Although we had officially shut our doors, we knew that The Hatred would live on through its legacy and members, and we were right.

XII. Legacy:

 

Following the closure of TH many of our members went on to be successful in a number of clans. It made me proud to come on and see ex-TH showing other clans how to be successful and professional. It was clear that during their time in The Hatred, they had learned something valuable. They were the people keeping The Hatred's legacy alive, and they were the people who lit the fire in Tyler, Taylor and I to bring back The Hatred for one last go. It was clear even years later, that The Hatred still burned inside the hearts of many.

XIII. Rebirth:

 

With the news of the wilderness returning my friend Tyler notified Taylor, Chris and I. Although at first I didn't believe it, I decided to make another pure just in case. Finally, in February I saw the return of the wilderness, which I thought was gone forever. Through this I couldn't help but think of the old days and the great experiences I had with TH. After much debate, Taylor, Tyler, Chris and I came to terms on a revival of The Hatred. We opened our doors once again to old members and friends, and set up a base of friendly faces. Then on April 2nd, 2011 we officially opened.

Currently, we are a fastly growing clan with a strong sense of community and history. We are focused on F2P, however we are not shy to P2P. As a clan, we take pride in organization, maturity and community. When other clans get wrapped in nonsense flames and discussion, The Hatred stays away. Our goal is to have the best community and organization around. We will not stop, until everyone respects us for our maturity both in and outside the game.
