My Wii won't do the system update.

It says it detects an internet connection, then suggests I do the system update. So I agree, and it does a connection test, says the connection is good, and starts the update. Then it tells me there is an error and the update could not be completed. It says error 32007. Which is incompatible internet connection or something like that.

 

It did about 3/4th of the update once before telling me it was wrong..

 

 

Anyone know how to fix it? I've gone through the support thing on nintendo.com, but its worthless.

Have you ever modded your Wii, with like the Twilight hack or anything?

I read awhile ago that Nintendo was buckling down on cheaters and making updates for Wii's, where anyone with a modded Wii would crash or not update.

 

If you haven't, I would suggest calling their support line.

 

EDIT --- I looked up the error code and it says that the internet would have cut out half way through. How many times have you tried the update? Is this your first time updating with any new software, internet or computers? Your Internet could simply be using a firewall and blocking the Wii when it tries to connect.

I have not modded it at all.

 

I've tried 4-5 times now to update it. We got a new router or something not long ago.. I'll check into the firewall.. If I know how. =\
