Well, I've deleted a sound driver thinking it was a modem driver.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Its E-Machines, and now I need to know how to get it back.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I figured I'd give a shout out here, see if anyone has a clue. :P

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Can I download a driver from the sound card's maker? (Haven't opened it up yet) Syntek was the name of the driver I deleted, but i can't find a website for them... so....

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Can I get the driver from the E-Machine start up disk without reformatting it?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Can i just download any generic sound driver? Its a bare bones card, I'm sure.

Check your Emachines CD there should be a website around it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Go there, put in Emachine model number (880 etc) and go through the stages to get the driver.
