Guest Rob
So, my laptop is a Windows 7/Ubuntu 10.10 dual boot. On Windows 7, my headphone jack works fine, but on Ubuntu, there's no audio. The speakers work on both. I've tried messing around with a few things on terminal, to no avail. Can anyone help me out?
Makoto_the_Phoenix
What does your sound preferences look like? What exactly did you try on the terminal? Can you show screenshots of alsamixer and your sound preferences (output) tab? Guest Rob
I just got it to work... I just changed the sound card in the Alsamixer and it worked right away. I could have sworn I tried that before, but it's working now. Thank you anyways, makoto!
