I am at the very end of the quest but i am struggling to kill the creature on the third disc

 

I have used alot of pouches trying to get it done, but each time it does nothing

 

I have waited to the south of the disc and as it approaches, dismissed my familiar but it never works

 

Any suggestions on how to complete this quest please??

Simple answer:

You are timing it wrong, the beast obviously doesn't have its front feet on the disc when you are dismissing the familiar.

 

If memory serves the discs gets smaller, so timing is tighter, but its still same basic principle

Any tips on how to get the timing right, considering i am going through too many pouches??

You can try playing on a low detail so that you can see the individual squares of the game ground.

 

This way you can know specifically which squares the beast's feet are on.

I have tried this and still nothing!!!

 

Its really starting to tick me off!!!!

 

I have tried if from different angles, have tried letting the creature walk away and wait till it returns from the north

 

The 1st two rings were simple, this one is crap!
