Old player coming back

I´ve read a lot of many changes that ocurred while I didn´t played. So probably the most common question... What would be the best moneymaker with my stats? (besides the dailies, farming herbs, MTK, etc...) I think runecrafting is pretty much useless now?

Def:83

Str: 81

Hp: 84

Prayer:70

Slayer:72

Farming:79

Runecrafting:93

Summoning: 70

It's pretty hard to make some decent cash with skilling lately but with your stats I'd go for herb farming. I believe every decent herb is profit and if you do consistent farm runs you can actually make some good money.

 

You could combine the herb runes with slayer while the herbs grow.

That´s what I was expecting... Or any skill still worth leveling for cash?

I'd definitely get into the Farming groove, there is still a decent profit to be made, there.

 

Slaying purely for profit isn't as great as it used to be, though it is a good way to get clues, and you never know when you'll get a good one. Not to mention more herbs and seeds.

 

Things like Cooking or Fletching, or even Crafting occasionally provide a tiny profit but you really need to keep watching the GE, and honestly, coming off of a Bonus Weekend, the market is going to be flooded.

Yeah runecrafting doesnt really profit much anymore.. At your levels I'd do herb farming, dailies, MTK, and a mix of dragons and boss hunting. Greens are a good place to start, and if you ever wanted to get into it you could test your luck out at bandos/zammy with a team. :)
