Allthough in step 11 is mentioned:

There is a Shabby book on a table in the northwest corner of the Chaos room - pick it up and flip through it

 

I believe that is better to add this in step 12.

 

So instead of:

 

Use your primed bar on the machine and operate the Draining machine to make a chaos bar. Take the chaos bar upstairs and make a pair of chaos boots. Congratulations, quest complete!

 

 

Correct to:

Use your primed bar on the machine and operate the Draining machine to make a chaos bar.
