Well i've been doing desert treasure on my 1 defence pure and i have gotten all of my diamonds besides the ice one. I've been trying to cannon him and/or safespot him but neither have worked. On my last attempt i got him red barred but i ran out of food even after getting some more from my friend. Does anyone have any advice for doing this? My relevant stats are 12 prayer, 51 mage, and 36 hp. I'm pretty sure i could finish this with my method but if anyone has any advice i'd be more than happy to try it out.

All that I can say is to use the highest Fire spell possible, an just bring a good number of stat restores to keep you at that level. Keep using the cannon though, it should help tremendously.

I don't know if they've changed it, but there used to be a big rock just before Kamil appears. If you set your cannon up next to the rock you can hide behind the rock to avoid damage and let the cannon do all the work for you.

I tried to do it but I wasn't able to set it up close enough to the rock so i could reload it without going out of the safespot.

I think this would have been possible without it but it definitely made it a lot easier.
