I want to tell you the new Death Plateau Quest update, I did it by myself and I hope it helps ^^

 

Quest start: Talk to Commander Denulth at Burthorpe.

 

Required:

 

Items: a pickaxe, a combat level to kill a troll level 5

Quests: -

 

Suggested:

1. You start talking to Commander Denulth at the quest point at Burthorpe/Taverly:

He will say that he wants to kill the trolls but he doesn't know the way how. He will send you to talk to Sabbot. He lives in a cave northwest of Burthorpe.

 

2. Head northwest, pass the minigame, and head to the cave. Enter the cave. When you talk to him, he will always answer you that he won't help you. But keep answering. Once you reach the part when both of you says "fine!", answer another "fine!" when you could. He will notice that you won't go out and then he will help.

 

3. He thinks that there is an underground passage to the Death Plateau. To know more about that, he will send you to talk to his wife, Freda to get the map of the geological survey there.

 

4. Head west, and after a "road", head south until you see a small house.

 

5. Head to the house and talk to Freda. She'll give the copy of the map if you fix her boots. Agree. She will give her boots to you.

 

6. To fix it, go talk to Dunstan at northeast of Burthorpe. He's smithing:

7. Talk to him and he will fix the boots.

 

8. Go back to Freda. He already finished the copy of the map and she'll give it to you.

 

9. Read the map. The map is the cave of Sabbot! Then, head to his cave.

 

10. Inside his cave, mine the wall northwest of his cave. (There should be an option). A tunnel will show to you. Also, Saboot will give you 4 rabbit sandwiches. Enter the cave.

 

11. Inside, you'll see, at the game map, agilities arrows. Just follow them.

 

12. Jump-down the cliffside; squeeze-through the gap; jump the crevice; swing-on rope-swing; then jump the stepping stones; head south and squeeze-trhough the gap; head south and climb the cliffside and exit the cave.

 

13. Outside, you'll see a troll near you. Talk to him at all options. When you'll say goodbye to him, he'll say that he wants to eat you, then attack him. When he's dead, you character you'll say to notify Commander Denulth.

 

14. Head to Denulth and agree to help him. You'll se a cutscene now.

 

15. Talk to him again.

 

Congratulations!!! Quest Complete!!

 

Reward: 3x 100xp reward lamps.

Quest points gained upon completion: 1 (If you've never done this quest before)

 

Tips, tricks & notes:

-> You can do this quest again even you already did it, but you won't receive the quest point;

-> If you talk to Commander Denulth again, he'll give a box (supplies) to send to his archers. Just go the north path of the cave of Sabbot. Protect from missiles!! and go south. Climb the cliffside at the east and head west. Talk to the Captain there and he will reward you with 3 more lamps lamps, this time, with 180xp each one.
