Hey, everytime I try to load runescape it will get stuck on 'Checking updates 98% (7)' i've left it to load for over 1 hour twice now. First attempt ending in a white screen, second was no change.

Please help!!

First step is to clear runescape cache which is found at:

C:\.jagex_cache_32

or

C:\Windows\.jagex_cache_32

 

Odds are something has corrupted itself by accident, clearing this will cause you to do a 100% new load of the game (as if you never played before) which will clear any corrupt files.
