I've never experienced them, although I can agree that they would be annoying, but as said it does pay for the free version of RuneScape. :mrgreen:

Considering that I remember reading in Jagex's own words that the video advertisements bring in substantially more money, one begins to wonder at what stage all the ad revenue we bring it begins to merit more of a voice.

 

I'm going to go with never, although for years Jagex has been obsessed with graphical upgrades to the free section of the world while neglecting the members areas, so there is something to be said about how they see their prospective vs their existing customer base.

 

This is the same Jagex that has been performing major overhauls to their tutorial at least once a year since 2008.
