I don't know who handles the corrections, but the lunar spell 'superglass make' works fine with regular seaweed or soda ash. however, it will not work with edible seaweed. to try to "use" edible seaweed on a range, one gets the msg that the item is already cooked and that action isn't needed, so can't make soda ash with it. however, in its original state, given that it can't be made into soda ash on a range, its not useable for making glass, as the spell doesn't recognise it as seaweed.
