WIP Pixel. Need help with shading.

Well heres what i got so far with the characters. I will make more smaller guys around in the background. This is my first pixel and i'm not good at shading so can someone help please! Also i know the mistake with the necklace. Ill get to that later.

read some guide on shading, just type in the keyword (pixel/shading/tutorial) on goole. I am sure there is tones these some pixel master wannabe. But they do get the basc right I bet...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

and I really don't get why people do a regular format of people and a background as their first piece....shouldn't these first timer be praticing on something simple?? like a sole simple character? why a whole picture?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

i Just want to point out doing pixel is not the easy way to earn money......

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

and people's second or third signiture entering people's competition is getting annoying. I always thought I am going to see something good since the price is quite high
