Short (Javelle)
So, I am restarting Runescape again and I need some help. I am a F2P player and I need tips and advice on where to train, what to train, best equipment to use and so on. These are my current stats. I currently have a little over 9M and right now I am trying to train range. Can someone give me advice on where to train and what kind of equipment would be best at what level and so on. I also want to train magic too. Attack, Strength, and Defense can all wait for a little bit, I am focusing on Range and Magic for the time being. Edited: Put in the wrong Skills picture! Silly me.. Gradeskip
Welcome back to RS and welcome to Tip.It :) You are F2p you say, even if you're 29 hunt/19 farm/50 herblore? If so, for ranging, at that level, I'd train with an oak shortbow and bronze arrows (no need to waste cash on higher level arrows, bronze do the job very well for you!). At lv20 range, upgrade to a willow shortbow :) I suggest you to wear leather equipment for bonus range xp, such as leather cowl, leather vambraces and soft leather body. (not the most elegant outfit, but it will speed up things a bit hehe ;)) As for the location, I'd train on monsters behind fences so you don't get hit back. You could do it on cows for example, either at Lumbridge (southeast of caste) or at the crafting guild. And wow you are rich for your level. O_O Anyway, I must go to bed now but feel free to Add me and PM me if you have anymore questions or want tips or if you simply want a new friend, my username is "Zr". :) (what's yours btw? I tried adding Guinieviera but it didn't work :P) Edit: Just saw your introduction topic, I posted there too. :P

That was a small account project I had done back before I quit Runescape last time. Short (Javelle) Ashley
Gradeskip
Hahaha well the oak shortbow advice on cows won't apply then. XD Silly you ;) (i totally copied that from the last line of your first post :P) So for the range training, I haven't trained range in F2p for so long, but I'll come back with an answer tomorrow. For now, if you want to do mage, you could simply High Alch items, it is a common and pretty good method to train magic. Good items to alch in F2p, since you have 9M that's great, are Green d'hide bodies (you can buy 1000/4hrs in GE) and adamant platebodies (you can buy 100/4hrs in GE). I'm going to bed now (goodnight :)), but add me and I can help you whenever you want tomorrow! ^_^
Short (Javelle)
I thought you lost money alching though. Hmm, lots has changed since I was playing Runescape. Short (Javelle) Ashley
Kaida23
The low price of nature runes helps that a lot. Check out Zapps1's F2P combat guide. I know it's been around for a while, but F2P combat doesn't really change all that often. :P You might also consider inquiring in the F2P discussion thread. You're bound to get lots of good advice there. Check out my blog to read the Adventures of a Big Damn (F2P) Hero. THE place for all free players to connect, hang out and talk about how awesome it is to be F2P. So, Kaida is the real version of every fictional science-badass? That explains a lot, actually...
