Im level 20 runecrafting, I want to get 99, seen as a lot of people are getting them, how long would it take and how do i get there and what do I need:)?

I couldn't possibly put an exact time figure on it but it would be around 130-140 hours? Assuming you do the best xp all the time and are highly efficient.

 

You get there by using the teleport function on your wicked hood OR by going to the RCing guild entrance in the Draynor Wizard Tower.

You require nothing to use runespan.

If you dedicate yourself fully 99 runecrafting shouldn't take more than a month or so. I've gotten 88-99 there in a week and a half, which translates to roughly 1m~ xp a day.

 

The basics are that nodes are better for xp than creatures, but nodes will not give you ess back, whereas a fully siphoned creature will give you 50 ess. Strike a balance between siphoning them and you shouldn't have a problem. The guide should help immensely :)

So what happpens to the runes that people make?

They contribute towards your Runespan points, which you can spend with Finix to buy wicked robes, massive pouches (which aren't worth it imo) and cosmetic esteem. This is all mentioned in our runespan guide btw :)

Another question? What would be the best to use? The highest level essling/wraith / node for your level, or something lower levelled as your success rate is higher?

 

For instance, what would a player with say.... erm.....78RC require to do for efficient use of the Runespan?

As for best xp, I find camping the best wraith I could siphon while siphoning any nodes around it worked best.

 

All nodes are better xp than just siphoning wraiths, with the exception of air nodes, which just come under slightly.
