Hunter/Thieving question.

Explain

Recommended Posts

Tired of red salamanders and common jadinkos seem to give almost nothing of value. Is there anything better than red salamanders 71-80 hunter? I don't care about profit at all.

Same goes with thieving. Blackjacking until 95 then go to monkey knife fighters, or until 81 then start PP?

Falconry if you have a bone crusher is as fast as red salamanders. Net trapping penguins is about as fast too.

For thieving you can do monkey knife fighters at 75 iirc. PP is about the same exp/hr at every level and is ever so slightly better if you have a partner at 91+

You could always try out the grey chins again. I know many players feel they're outdated by the time you reach higher levels, but their availability and the stackability make them good candidates regardless of level. I'm 92 and I still go visit them from time to time. I'm not saying they're what you should do til 99, but they can give you great xp and a great rate for a substantial period of time if you're looking for it.

If you want a terrible mix of terrible xp and terrible money, grey chins are for you. Otherwise, follow the advice posted earlier.

Nice tact Hedgehog :P

I was just throwing out an alternative. You missed the part where I said they won't be good continuously as there are better alternatives. The previous user posted Falconry and Penguins, so I just added chins as a break from monotony. Thanks for your contribution :P

At 99 hunter grey chins won't ever fail your trap so at 92 and an arctic bear ill assume the same. You can catch a max of around 600 an hour depending on trap placement to maximize spawn catching.

600 an hour at 198.5 xp each and 381 coins each gives you 230 k gp /hr and 120 k xp/hr.

Alternatively you could have gone to draconic jadinos for double that experience (250 k xp/hr) for 25 min and then spent the remaining 35 min making money at 2.5 mil per hour at Grenwalls (sticking with hunter and given 99 hunt) giving you 1.2 mil cash.

All this is considerably less for the op as they are only lvl 71.

TLDR: math'd
