i am having trouble accessing the runescape homepage from any browser. this is normally not a problem but i have to post on the fourms as par my clan duties.

any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

I guess the first thing I would do (it probably isn't critical, its just the way I do things) is verify that my computer can connect to their site by pinging it. start>search for 'command prompt'>hit enter. With Command prompt open just type "ping www.runescape.com" and hit enter. That will verify if the connection can be established or not.

 

The next thing I would do is reset my internet connection, and if that doesn't work, I'd reset my wireless router (unplug for 10+ seconds, and don't worry, this wont reset it to factory, just force a full reboot). After that, I'd probably restart my computer

May have been a moment of downtime from the rs page..
