Days Vs. Sylvette: 99 Slayer

Now without further... ado?

 

This is how it all began:

 

A few weeks ago I began to think about what I would be doing for cash on Runescape. Of course since it's difficult to find a trustworthy real world RSGP supplier (that was a JOKE) I decided that I wanted to do some PVM. After a couple failed solos at Bandos (With my stats, who wouldn't) I decided that I would do something more practical: Slayer.

 

Now, I was 61 slayer then. And since then I've gotten to learn a lot about the interworkings of PVM in slayer and what it takes to be successful. I've also learned that Mature Grotworms are infested by bots (And it pisses me off) :x:

 

After getting some experience with doing slayer, (i.e. getting a Full Slayer Helmet) I decided to get all of my tasks from Sumona, except those multiples of 10 and 50. Then I got bored with her and started doing strictly Duradel tasks.That's when Sylvette came in.

I'd been telling Syl about my tasks, ranting about tasks in 1v1 (I love my multicannon), and calling Syl a noob because I was catching up to her Slayer level. Then she challenged me and we decided to race to 99.

 

And so it's begun.

TODAY, during a Desert Strykewyrm task, I got 75 slayer/76 attack, and decided I would venture into the Ancient Cavern to try and find Kuradal. Next thing you know, I find myself getting pwned by Mithril Dragons. Yeah, laugh it up.

 

I ended up finding Kuradal, after about a half hour or so and got a Grotworm task. GF. Good Money, but GF.

 

Now to find a world that isn't infested with those godforsaken bots. May Saradomin strike them down.

Blog entry #2:

 

It's been a few days since I've posted in the blog. But here we go:

I haven't made much progress in slayer, mostly just got 50k exp in the last day or so. But the day after my first entry I got assigned the Fight Caves by Kuradal!

 

 

But I have been doing Dominion Tower for a couple of days and got my swift gloves!

In other news

 

Yesterday I got smacked by Graardor. GF

 

Shortly after, I went DH pking and killed a chick who lagged out. (I felt bad for all of a few seconds)

 

Shortly after that I got downed for full DH and a bit more than I got from the chick (Karma)

 

Then I went to Dom Tower and this happened?:

 

 

Today, after getting swifts, I pked 6m in loot total. which included a 3.5m drop from a chick in full gano who thought she could farcast a 99 Ranged/88 Def wannabe Rigour Tank with Swifts. lol.

 

Then I went to Chaos Elemental and got a D2H drop on the third kill. My one and only Chaos Elemental run for the day got me 1.4m loot. Woot.

Sylvette and I went co-op slaying today. Got a Blue Dragon task. He beat me by about 40 kills. GF
