Returning and need advice on money making

Featured Replies

Well, I've been playing now for a couple of weeks and played a week or 2 in summer, before that I had a bigger break. Now to the business, I really need some good advice on how to make money, as you can see I'm not really interested in skilling so I would prefer PvM or something.

Here are my stats :iwn246.png

And here are the quests that I HAVEN'T done : nvzcrs.png

The only reason I haven't done them so far is that I don't have the skill requirements for them and I'm too lazy to do them.

I currently have like ~15m worth of items (Pretty much claws and some other minor staff).

I'm looking to get Overloads+Turmoil and some decent gear (Bandos items etc)

Farm. Easiest way to build a solid bank account.

On a similar note, if you've made any progress at Temple Trekking, considering doing a little more and getting the reward that let's your mushroom patch never get diseased. Morchella mushrooms have a very high margin of profit.

Your quests don't really restrict you from any money-makers. RotM does because of Glacors but you'd need fire surge for optimal use. Glacors are very good for money, though, so I would seriously consider finishing RotM. The boss battles are actually pretty easy and totally do-able at your levels.

Finally, I'd say 15m is a good enough cashpile to start flipping, if you know how. There are loads of guides in YouTube you can look at for starters.

keep doing farm runs ranarrs or lantadyme. also keep doing slayer and try to save drops to sell later wen bot nuke has made prices rise to make more profit

It isn't temple trekking, it's the Morytania tasks. Medium will give you the disease free patch. Elite would give you double yield on them.

You're right, my apologies it's been a while since I've completed those. But yeah I would try and make progress on that.

Thanks for the tips, I currently got a 30m loan from a friend and got my self bandos tassys+chestplate and fury. I definitely will be start doing herb runs, inbetween slayer tasks. Also i want to do GWD, maybe trio with a couple of friends. I guess Bandos is the easiest.

But it's also the most crowded and you are more likely to get crashed than complete a decent amount of kills.

I'm not on my phone now, so I can be a bit longer and give some suggestions.

You'll need 2 hunter and 3 thieving levels to do Deadliest Catch for this tip to be most effective. Completing Deadliest Catch gives you access to bank deposit boxes in some locations around the world. By completing the Morytania Easy tasks, you get double bloom on the Mort Myre Fungi. Camping at the deposit box with a familiar full of prayer pots can give you over 800k/hr at current prices.

Also, completing the Morytania Hard tasks gives you double runes from Barrows, so you should also be able to get over 800k/hr there, as well.

As for GWD, I trio'ed ~20 Zammy kills with a 137+138. I'd say it was just about as easy as Bandos, but you could argue that it was the other 2 guys who did most of the work/damage... Still an even split and they invited me, so it works for me.

Edit: Dailies can work wonders, as well. Battlestaves from Naff/Baba Yaga, Broad bolttips/arrowheads from Taverly/any where else, and even things like sand from Bert or pineapple/seaweed from Arheim can really start to add up in time. Things from the RfD chest are also good, like the chocolate.
