Firemakers Curse Tip

Featured Replies

I recently completed the firemakers curse quest and in the final boss battle with Char, I found an interesting occurence where you have to dodge the fire walls he sends out by running through the open spots. When i ran directly perpendicular and through the fire wall(not the blank spot) I took no damage. I tried it 2 more times and still took no damage. I have no screenshots to prove this but someone else may wish to try it. Of note, this was only during the boss fight I tried it in a different room and it did a lot of damage. Someone may want to try this out.

*Awkward 16 day silence*

Just to break the awkward silence, I'll post :P.

I'd just like to reassure you that everything is this forum is read, but if it's something like this that needs confirmation that can sometimes take us time. In order for the guides to be as accurate as possible, we like to confirm things in-game (which isn't as easy with quests as it can be with other things) if screenshot proof isn't available.

Thanks for your feedback and patience.

I experienced the same thing when I thought I was running through a hole and actually ran through flame and took no damage. I tried staying in the water but that just got me burned.
