Party details problem

Featured Replies

Hi, for some reason, the party details are not being captured at all when using DGSweeper.

It's quite frustrating as this is a fantastic and useful feature to use, and I would like to get this resolved as soon as possible!

  • An undistorted screenshot, PNG format, of your entire RuneScape applet with your dungeoneering map open and your DGSweeper visible.

  • Your DGSweeper version.

1.0.4.1

  • Your RuneScape graphics settings.

DirectX

  • Your client - Browser, Jagex client, SwiftKit, etc.

Official RuneScape client

  • Your operating system.

Windows 7 64-Bit

Any help is much appreciated. Thank you!

That's really funny. Apart from Kimberly, you're the only person I've ever seen where the map works but the legend does not.

Thank you for taking the time to follow the guide for posting problems with the DGSweeper. It saves us a lot of pointless posts. :P.

I'm not at home so I can't do much with your screenshot and information now, but does it work with someone else as the keyer? Perhaps with you as the 3rd, 4th,or even 5th member of the party? The reason I ask is because the DGSweeper looks at very specific parts of the legend. The first place it checks is the top. At first glance, and I may correct myself when I can home and can actually analyze it pixel-by-pixel, it looks like the letter y in your name may be covering one of the small places it checks. It's one of those 1-in-a-million chances. If it is, though, it's a very easy fix.

Thanks again!

I often dungeoneer with my friend who uses DGSweeper. He doesn't seem to have any problems with the legend whenever he's the keyer or any position on the legend when he's in a team with me.

I don't know what else to try but it literally doesn't work at all for me no matter what position my name is on the legend.

Hopefully you'll be able to find the issue and get a fix out! :D

Thanks

Edit: You may be correct!

That's exactly what I was referring to. It looks for certain parts of the grid... And one of the pixels it checks may be under that Y.

However, I wrote the C++ functions that'll search/filter the legend today. Am just waiting on Kimmy (Yes, I just called you Kimmy) to send me a message on Skype so she can be my lab rat try it for me. Although her problem differs from yours, I know for certain your legend will work in my next one. :P.

You'll be able to choose whether you want the names on the map, on the tooltip (screenshot below), or not shown at all. I thought it was dumb how previous versions showed all 5 markers on the legend, even if there were only 2 people in the party. This takes care of that also:

The GF actually helped me so much. I was trying to design the legend tooltip. Every time I tried it looked gross (or I'm just too picky). She says, "Make the little icon marker thingies 3D... They don't fit in." So I did, and thus ended my 2 weeks of trying to come up with a legend GUI because I fell in love with it. Lol. Now if only she'd help me with the key utility...

Sleep time!
