Windows OneCare issues (help/advice needed)

Featured Replies

Alright, so my Windows OneCare Status is "At Risk" (literally in the red), when I run tune-up it goes through everything, but when it finishes it tells me that I'm not connected to the internet and it cannot download any updates as a result of that. Thing is... I am connected to the internet, because I am on here as I speak and my mother is on the same network and I just ran tune-up on her system without any problems.

When I go to check for updates manually... the link is entirely grey. I can't click on it at all.

I've tried restarting and it still isn't cooperating. And I'm beginning to think that reinstalling is maybe my only other choice. Was hoping someone had some other suggestions that they could offer me before I go through the trouble of going through all this rubbish again.

Any help is appreciated.

EDIT: Nevermind. Problem fixed itself, basically. Just must have been stubborn and thought I wasn't connected to the internet, when I clearly was. A mod or admin can lock this if they want.
