I got this message while trying to load runescape today.

I'm trying to get conformation from jagex or the Runescape official forums about this. To me this may be something Jagex have done to force user to use java 6 because of how bad java 7 is.

 

The first thing I would do is close SK and uninstall all version of java from add remove programs.

 

Then go to http://java.com/en/download/manual_v6.jsp and download the latest version of the offline 32bit java 6 this should be "java 6 update 38" once installed reload runescape. if the message then continues to appear I would wait until we here something from Jagex before clicking continue. Other wise you should be good to go.
