I'm having trouble catching a baby platypus. I've finished the quest As A First Resort, I set the box trap, I light the lavender and lure the platypus to the box. It goes under the box but the box will not close on it. I've tried smoking the trap and stepping away from it also.

 

Am I doing something wrong? Is this a bug? Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help.

You're not doing anything wrong, it's just a pain in the ass. I caught one right after I did that quest too :)
