September 15, 201312 yr I just need to know how to get Rantz to kick that tree over again. I re-started the quest but it didn't help. I didn't chop the tree into a boat when he first kicked it over because I thought I should catch the chompy birds first. After I caught 2 of them, I went back to make the boat and the tree was like, stationary. Can't do anything with it and Rantz only gives you 2 options, hatsies or asks about how to get jubbly. Click a few more times and Rantz wants me to make that tree into a boat. I can't. What went wrong and how can I fix it? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
September 15, 201312 yr I'm slightly confused by your post. Is there a tree lying there? If it is then right click a hatchet in your inventory (toolbelt doesn't work) and select 'use'. You should now be able to click on the tree. Do this multiple times until the log is boat shaped. Hope this helps :)
September 15, 201312 yr Author Thank you, but that doesn't help, I already tried that, using 2 different hatchets. Yes, the tree is lying there but it's like part of the scenery, I can't click on it.
September 15, 201312 yr It's normal that you can't click the tree - it was like that when I did that part of the quest yesterday. It should have an option when you have selected 'Use' on your hatchet and you mouse over the tree. Try moving your cursor up and down to see if you have missed a bit. For what it's worth, I was using a rune hatchet. The only other advice that I can give is to look on Youtube to see if you can find a video of someone doing that part to see if there is anything that you have missed. Sorry I can't be any more help - good luck!
September 15, 201312 yr Author Thank you Jonathan, I appreciate you trying to help me. Going to Youtube to check it out. Thanks again.
September 16, 201312 yr Author Jonathan!! YAY!! I came back here and read and re-read your posts and then gave it another try. I wasn't clicking on my hatchet and selecting "use", that was my problem. I got it now. Yahoo. Thank you very much for your help. That part of the quest is completed now. Thank you, thank you! Whew!!
September 16, 201312 yr Glad it worked! Good luck with the rest of the quest - if you need any more help then feel free to PM me as it is still fresh in my mind.
