November 19, 201312 yr Hello everyone, Today i was playing Runescape 2007, i am completing the quest "The Grand Tree", and why i say impossible? Because when near the end when i was killing the Black Demon with range, it wont let my kill him. I mean i did damage to him but when he dropped to about 25% of his HP, he just dissapeared with no damn reason :( (with glouth).I actually "killed" 2 times but it always dissapears and when i try to talk to the king in the cave it dont say the same like in the Quest guides and dont let me get to find the deconian rocks under the roots or something. Please help, this is a wierd bug.. Sorry for my bad english.
November 19, 201312 yr You're not killing him fast enough sadly :( If you exceed a certain amount of time the demon times out and despawns. Try using magic for faster kills? You'd hit a lot more often even with Fire Strike. In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.
November 19, 201312 yr Yeah ranged is ridiculously slow for pretty much everything. Use melee or magic, preferably magic because it's overpowered at low levels.
