Login problem

Hi all,

We're currently working on restoring service to our Frankfurt core hosting facility, apologies for the inconvenience this is causing.

In the meantime, please try connecting to another RuneScape World shown as on-line within the RuneScape lobby whilst we work to get this back as quickly as possible.

Update [19:29]: We're putting a fix in place to restore service. If you're still unable to login, please flush your local DNS and connect to another world.

Windows
1. Press the Windows key + R
2. In the run box type cmd and click OK
3. When the command prompt opens type the following. ENTER after each new line.
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
exit

Mac OSX
To flush your DNS cache on your Mac, first we'll need to ascertain which version of the Mac OS X you're using. To do this, click on the Apple logo in the top left and then hit 'About this Mac', you'll now see a version number.

With that in mind, please proceed with the below steps:

1. Using the Spotlight search in the top right-hand side of the screen, search for 'Terminal'
2. Type in the following command and hit enter:
If you're running Mac OS X 10.5 or 10.6:
sudo dscacheutil -flushcache
If you're running Mac OS X 10.7 or 10.8:
sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder
