puretppc
I use a Windows 7 Acer Aspire Laptop but I notice that the usage is around 1.3m kb for Runescape launcher. I have 6GB RAM and use an i3-2370M core. Also, check out my Youtube Channel for more awesome RS Videos and Guides!
Arceus
What specifically are you trying to do? If you allot RuneScape less computing power, it's not going to perform as well/generally lag more. I sometimes take like 5 ticks to get a bank preset done. Also, check out my Youtube Channel for more awesome RS Videos and Guides!
Arceus
Hmm, I'm not sure what to suggest beyond the usual things: make sure Java is up-to-date, update drivers, etc. If you're doing a lot of training near a bank, using a less populated one (like the dg bank) may help reduce lag. Also try different worlds with low ping to see if that improves things. "Fight for what you believe in, and believe in what you're fighting for." Hedgehog
If your issue is with random lag spikes, it's probably an issue with garbage collection. I think this still fixes it, but it's a little old so don't count on it. If it's not a garbage collection issue, then you either have background software running that's harming your performance, your operating system is getting sluggish, or you're bottlenecked somewhere. Tim
Also one thing to be aware of, Although it's a browser game, Runescape still uses Java and Java is notorious for being a resource [bleep]. Not to mention Runescape isn't exactly the most optimized game either, this coming from a guy with a pretty high-built machine. Popoto.~<
