Masterzab
Hello, I updated my java to the latest version today and it caused runescape to no longer work on swiftkit. I get the 'Please update java' screen. I have tried uninstalling java and swiftit and inreinstalling both, same problem. I even tried rolling back to java 7 and 6 and still the same problem. Please note runescape and java are working fine on internet explorer but not swiftkit. Really do regret updating my java but if anyone can assist I would be extremely grateful. Many thanks. Ile
What browser you used to download java? Chrome and IE use different versions so if you installed with Chrome, then you'll have to use the chrome frame in SK.
Masterzab
Hello Ile, Thank you for your message. I do not have chrome. The only web browser I have is internet explorer and that is what I used to download and install java. Runescape works fine on internet explorer but gives me an 'update java' page when using swiftkit. Many thanks.
Masterzab
This has now been resolved. It seems internet explorer was making me install the 64 bit version of java. I downloaded and installed the 32 bit version and swiftkit java works again! Happy days :D
