(I'll respond here as this thread is more appropriate...) I don't think Jagex intended for players to run through quests all in a row though. I mean it's not like they had an event and a trophy title recently to speedrun all the quests, right?

Yes and this is more likely since the amount of people who missed a world event, but still get to play a quest won't see a heavier return with time played than the increased time gotten out of the event.

 

Sure, some people miss events, but not money. It's not like this game is bringing in many new players anymore.

No, but hell I should've had a few more to do than after a two year hiatus. I think I did then in 2 1/2 days, even with Plagues taking about 4 hours. And 3 attempts to have finally finished BoE.
