fishmech
There are some things from the old runeScape I'd like to see return: 1. (This is from the first 3 months so you may not remember it) Allowing you to stay logged in without moving or what ever at least once every 3 minutes. 2. Being able to send a message to someone without clicking their name on the friends list (it was something like pm:username:message)
fishmech
3. Bringing back the "auto" camera feature that changed to better views as you played.
dorker42
I like the first one, no preference on the second as long as the list is still there, but I don't like the third. I want my camera angle to be however I want it. But it would be nice to stay logged on longer. fan of her's.You know what I hate? People putting an apostrophe on a personal pronoun. STOP IT. fishmech
Well with the "auto" camera feature, that idea was to have it be an option like in the original.
Bubsa
2. Being able to send a message to someone without clicking their name on the friends list (it was something like pm:username:message) Would kill for that one again. The only apprehension I have is that, due to the influx of mass idiots about now who can't spell, people may type pm:usernmae:mesasge (for example). Thus, by spelling it wrong, we get to invade their privacy and see there intended private message. Laughable, yet ethically wrong. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you. Striker6
The first option sounds like a good plan, the second one well, is it really that much hassle to click the smiley face then click the friend you want to pm, i don't see the point really, but I suppose it could do no harm... Raichase
Thus, by spelling it wrong, we get to invade their privacy and see there intended private message. Hehe, usually it's not worth invading... "PMG I PWNED SUM N00b" or "Phree stuff pl0x" both come to mind :D. Raichase, quit Runescape. Time issues really, nothing against the game itself. Something had to go, and it happened to be the addictive game that costs money to enjoy :) Best of luck to all of my friends here!
fishmech
Its hard to misspell most things into my username anyway. Also I'd like to add: 4. Being able to create a new account within the client. 5. No tutorial island. 6. Choosing "Character class" to give you boosts in skills and items when you started. Miners got +5 in mining and smithing level at start along with a pickaxe and hammer, wizards got robes and +5 magic level, and so on.

I started as a ranger, used up my 25 or so arrows (no arrow types back then, just generic), then found a sword to hit people with. Been hitting people ever since :). Raichase, quit Runescape. Gamerr
Bring back the 3-hit-rule in wildy, make magic less powerfull and bring back the glory of STRENGTH.
X-Arcade-X
2. Being able to send a message to someone without clicking their name on the friends list (it was something like pm:username:message) It was "Tell:Username:Message". We had a horrible time with it, we couldn't use the term "tell" or anything that inculded those 4 letters because it would give us an automated answer that the specified username wasn't found. :( RsN: Arcade
harper128
How about a reply feature, right click on a message and reply to it instead of having to add someone to your friends list that's trying to talk to you?

MD666
I don't think classes should be brought back. The fact that there is so much freedom in RS is what makes it a great game. People may feel that they can't move on to a different "class".
fishmech
The classes didn't mean you were actually a wizard or whatever for ever, they just gave you a few items and some skill bonuses and let you play however you want.
