Leaving the Game

Hey everyone!

 

I'm halfway through my senior year of college, and I don't have time to play RuneScape anymore. I don't see this changing after I graduate, so I think it's time to say goodbye. I started this account to get your advice on how best to "reset" the game. What I mean is: I don't want anything to come back to that would tempt me to come back. If I ever do decide to play again, my account will still be there for me. But if I know there are items/gold waiting for me, it will make it easier to come back.

 

So I've made this list of everything I can think of to remove/reset. Do you guys have anything to add?

-Normal Spellbook
-Revert teleports

-Clear all Farming patches
-Delete POH
-Harvest Harmony Moss Pillars
-Reset DG Prestiege (0/x)
-Clear all skill goals
-Zero-out Slayer tasks
-Spend all Slayer Points
-Spend all  virtual currencies

-Clear all Action Bars

-Spend all RuneCoins/Loyalty Points

-Use up all TH Keys

If you are interested, you can write Jagex and have them disable your account for you. It is reversible, though, if you change your mind. See here: http://services.runescape.com/m=rswiki/en/Support_-_Account_deletion

Or you could just make a super long password made up by a random character generator and not write it down.

 

You can also reset your defense/hp levels which makes you re-do a bunch of quests.

I will definitely look into having my account disabled. As for Def/HP reset; I disabled the ability to do that on the day it was released.
