As far as I know the new d2h isnt that great, so few thoughts came into my mind about new weapon. Feel free to post your thoughts after reading the whole post.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

First and the most important thing where to get it and the requirements to weild it? Quest reward like d long, rune plate etc. Skill requirements should be like 80 attack and 80 strenght. The quest could be just plain and simple pick up few items and kill high lvl monster or few. After all there is tons and tons of foreing people playing runescape, including myself and therefore riddles and such things should not prevent players getting new great weapon.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Secondly the price. After reading whip price topic I thought that the new weapon should cost something around 5-10m. After all its easy to make money and it would be great thing to get some money out of the game because there is way too much of it in the game anyways.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Last but not least weapon stats and speed. New weapon should have str mode in it for sure. Overall it could have about similar stats and speed compared to whip. Maybe lil bit faster and lower power or lil bit slower and lil bit more powerful. Although if its much more powerful compared to whip it would just replace whips and it would make whips almost useless. So maybe lil less power and lil bit faster than whip. Then there would be more variety in weapons that people use.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Personally I would love to see some new items only available to for those who have started Runescape before Rs2, but this would make many players VERY angry :D So lets leave this thought out of discussion.

Strengh: Strongest

Or perhaps a new drop from dark beasts (they need a decent drop): a dark whip. Similar to the abysall whip, but has a strength training mode, and the whips old special. That wouldn't totally change anything, but it'd make 90+ slayers happy and allow people to strength train with a whip.

Maybe make it not tradeable? This would reward those well that have reached 90 slayer.
