Can I take a dragon hatchet and dragon pickaxe off my toolbelt and then augment them and then put them back on my toolbelt?

You can have Doc at the Invention guild take dragon/crystal tools off your toolbelt once, and augmented tools cannot be added to toolbelt.

I have rune hatchet in tool belt augmented dragon hatchet wielding it. It still uses rune hatchet in toolbelt instead of augmented one anyone know why

Hey! Unfortunately, once a dragon hatchet or dragon pickaxe is added to your toolbelt, you can’t remove it, so it’s not possible to take them off and then augment them.

If you want to augment them, you’ll need to get a second copy of the item, augment that one, and use it from your inventory instead. The toolbelt versions are just for convenience, but they can’t be modified.
