Erdanzug
Greets - I've just installed swiftkit and get a critical error at launch. This is a fresh install. Following is the debug file content. Is the program usable? Is there a fix or workaround for this? [3/17/2020 1:00:02 PM] Starting up... No joy running as admin. Also, while trying to use various functions via the browser, I ran into cancelled navigation errors. While one of these pages was displayed, I tried to launch Chrome and I had a total system lock. I'd imagine a memory loop. Waited a bit and it freed up, but that was rather disconcerting. Sorry, but considering the lack of recent updates, or at least news items, I'm uninstalling. Too many issues.
Ile
The SwiftKit project has been in maintenance mode for a few years now. This means that no upcoming updates are planned for the time being.
canonrebel04
I have been having problems with this issue as well and also running as admin doesn't work. Critical Error 53 - File not found Critical error while checking for updates. Update process aborted, if this continues please let us know on the forums. ... when i press OK button it brings me to profiles and launches properly but when i get in and press play RS it wont detect my game installed or wont detect it even when i re download the game. it just brings me to the RuneScape main page with the try free and download button. or pops up with a small window telling me to download the client or disable the client but when I click download it opens google with a 404 page not found.
