I love playing runescape....but a while ago my dad blocked it. Does anyone know how i could get around the firewall/parental control?

yea...just go into the control panel and then to internet properties....

security ~then restriced sites remove runescape from the list if it is there

And then once you have done that and your Dad finds out, he will simply take away you computer. Do you really think your Dad is going to block it and not make sure it stays blocked? If I were you I would find a friend who's parents allow him to play and see if you can use their computer once in a while. DON'T us a public computer (library, school) since there is a very high chance it will be loaded with viruses, spyware and keyloggers.

Best idea, talk to your dad. Maybe agree to just limit your time on runescape.

Honestly, unblock it from your computer and keep playing....You seem kind of young, I doubt your dad thinks you know how to unblock it....Or you can just keep reblocking it everytime you finish playing :), that way he'll never know!

hmm informing you how to go behind your parents back is not good advice, as once he finds out what little trust he has with you will go.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

i'd say don't try, speak to him, show him these forums perhaps- then he can read and make his own mind up.

 

 

 

i'm a parent myself and i can understand how some adults might not like this game.
