March 10, 200620 yr i think they should make it so that only 1 of there account scan be online at once because people say they have 2 woodcutting and 1 fishing which makes it pretty cheap and no skill at all. Jagex should make it so that when that account is logged in, the ip address would be recognized and when another 1 of their logins enter, it would not allow them too What do you think?
March 10, 200620 yr No that is dumb, first off what if someone in your household wants to play on a different computer while you are playing. Also what about all the people at universities that are playing with the same IP. This is not a good idea. Your true character is what you are like when you believe there are no repercussions.
March 10, 200620 yr The idea for my game is: Do not use your accounts you made trade with your other accounts.. #1 I will do nothing to stop this....but....I may figure somthing out #2 it doesnt matter they put their own time into making that gp so they can do with it as they want! March 10, 200620 yr Author well whatever i just find that its cheap because it also encourages autoers right? so if only 1 was alowed then it would lower it a bit and if its a different computer its always a different ip address
March 18, 200620 yr A router doesn't usually show the LAN that's connected through it. It only shows it's IP address to the world. However, you can easily have 3-4 or more computers hooked up to the internet through the same router. Often, in a household, there are multiple people who play Runescape, and they prefer to play it together. Kinda the point of sharing a game, don't you think? However, since Jagex only sees the IP of the router, that means that it would only allow one of the people in the household to play at a time. Also, some servers at schools do not show the IP of the computer below them which is accessing the internet through them. This can help prevent hackers from getting in, but, again, it can make it appear that several people are playing from the same computer. Plus, there are many different ways for Autoers to get around that which I don't want to go into here because I don't want to "inspire" anyone to try it. So, while I applaude the effort and the desire to help
