whats the quickest way to get lvl 3 clues. Best beast to kill? best thing to do?

i heard that the best way is to go to the helhounds in the dungeon by ardy and use a halberd and all they drop is clues

Clue scrolls drop randomly from the monsters. There is no such way to get them quicker. Ring of Wealth doesn't even effect in getting clue scrolls faster.
