I downloaded terragan (or however it spelled) but I can't find it newhere...where is it or did I do something wrong?

It's called Terragen.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

(This is generic information usable for all programs, since I've never downloaded Terragen)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After you download it, you go to the place where you saved it. If it's a zip, you unzip it, find the setup[Caution: ExecutableFile] or install[Caution: ExecutableFile], and run that. If it's an exe, just run it (double-click it).

 

 

 

After that, it should appear in Start Menu, Desktop, or Quick Lauch bar. If you purposely made it so it doesn't, you should find the corresponding folder, then exe in Program Files.

A file under My Documents...I double click it to start the installation and it just dies off...

Yes, it seems to die off a few times during the installation... just wait a while and it'll start up in a while.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And if you see a window labelled "Setup" in the taskbar, click it. ^_^
