i have a dell laptop which has bottons on in near the mouse touch pad and the volume buttonsarent working proply. well the buttons r workin fine but wen i press the buttons i used to get a lil popup that had the volume lvl n it goes away after a few seconds. for sum reason i dont get that popup any more which is really anoyin as i dont no how loud the speakers r.. i did a msconfig yesterday but i didnt disable anything that has to do with speakers that i no of... please help

I believe the program that control those settings for a dell laptop is called "AccessDirect" , try checking the settings for that program.

 

 

 

I am pretty sure that it adds a tab to your "Control panel > keyboard" menu :)

i juz enabled everything that i disabled yesterday n it works again... as far as i can see none of them have anything to do with sound but i spose i will juz leave it all enabled... ty albosky but wen i go into the keyboard settings it doesnt have any settings or anything in there.
