ok my dad doesnt like me doing much on my computer so he has it set up that he has the admin account and i have some limited crap.. how do i get past it because it wont let me download anything not even flash or java... so if anyone knows how i can get past this [cabbage] please tell me

Its simple really :). Is it your Computer Account that is limited or the internet? if its the Limited account follow these instuctions:

 

 

 

1) Switch Off your Pc

 

2) Before the computer boots, repeatedly press F8. This will bring up a screen with a few options. Choose to boot in safe mode.

 

3) when the log on Screen appears, choose to log on as Admin (if this is password protected that its no use).

 

4) once logged on, go to the user accounts via the control panel.

 

5) Switch your user account to admin.

 

6) Reboot PC in normal mode and there you have it :)

i know that.. but my keyboard and mouse are wireless... so when press F8 and go to the menu they dont work.... are there any other ways?

Not that i know off. I think thats the only way to get past this "cabbage" as you call it :P. Sorry :(

well its really starting to make me mad becuase i cant do anything on my computer... i can still play some games and runescape but all the sounds for runescape are messed up since my dad has a program that deletes all the temp internet files so the sound effect dont work right....

muhahahha found my wired keyboard :)
