I currently have almost full dragon, no chain. I was thinking if I should sell it and buy torags. It's the only barrows I could afford.

 

 

 

So, which would be better for a melee player?

Buy Torag's, no hammers, with obby shield/dragon square (your choice) and whip.

 

 

 

That is the best melee def in the game, but barrows is expensive to maintain.

I myself use what the person above me posted, I use Full Torags No hammers, Whip, Obby Shield, and Glory, Legends, etc. And my def stats are around +340 besides mage, which is way better compared to dragon and its costs, d sqr costs about 200k more then full t no hams costs, not including d legs and d med)

 

 

 

If you train combat a lot without making a good amount money on the side, then I recommend you stay with dragon, with hammers, torag will cost 220k to fix each time it hits 0% or totally broken. With Hammers, or any other full barrows armor, will cost 330k to fix, so not getting the weapon saves a lot of money.
